Good Evening Pirate Nation. There has been some misunderstanding about the student return date. Students will not return to campus until Tuesday, January 4.
Also, there is a free vaccination clinic in Chilton ISD tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ages 12 and up.
It is with great sadness that we inform our Chilton family of the passing of Ms. Robin McKee. Ms. McKee has served as our Communities in Schools liaison for the elementary campus for the past year.
During her time with us, Ms. Robin touched the lives of our students and staff with her radiant smile and her servant’s heart. She organized a free barber clinic for Chilton ISD during the summer. She also worked to ensure that families had food and clothing throughout the past two school years.
In addition, she led classes with our 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students designed to support their mental and emotional health.
Ms. McKee was a bright light on our campus who always had an encouraging word to share to brighten someone’s day. She made a lasting impact in such a short time. We will forever cherish her memory and will always appreciate her legacy of love and service to the students and staff of Chilton Elementary.
Please join us in honoring her memory and praying for her family.
