Good Afternoon Pirate Nation. Given the recommendation of state and national leaders, we will extend Spring Break through Friday, March 20, 2020. We will meet with district leadership this afternoon to release more specific plans as it relates to our closure, feeding opportunities, and learning opportunities for students during this closure. Please stay tuned for additional information regarding this extended closure. As the concern is preventing the spread of illness, we encourage parents and students to monitor travel and activity to decrease additional exposure. Thanks for your cooperation and understanding.

Let’s welcome Mr. Ryan Bobo to Pirate Nation. Mr. Ryan Bobo will serve as our Agricultural Sciences instructor. He is a 2010 graduate of Chilton ISD. Ryan received a bachelors degree in Criminal Justice from Tarleton State University with a specialty in forensics. We are grateful to have a Pirate alumnus returning to give back to his alma mater.

Please join me in welcoming Mrs. LaTrice Canada as the Chilton ISD PEIMS Coordinator. Mrs. Canada holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Huston-Tillotson University and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Strayer University. Mrs. Canada comes to us with a wealth of experience having served as a registrar and PEIMS Specialist with Waco ISD and the JHW Inspire Academy. Mrs. Canada begins her journey with the Chilton ISD on Monday, January 27, 2020. Let's show her a warm Chilton ISD welcome.
