Mr. Kelly and Mrs. Smith's CTE class got an exclusive look behind the scenes at a meat packaging facility. Learning about the process first hand. Thank you to C.W. Texas Natural Meats for allowing our kids to come and experience what it's like in a meat processing facility.

Gracias a la aprobación TEA de la solicitud de subvención de CISD, nuestros estudiantes tienen la oportunidad de comenzar a trabajar en sus certificaciones CTE de soldadura o negocios y emprendimiento temprano! Esta oportunidad de verano les permitirá estar listos para la fuerza laboral ya en su tercer año. Este innovador programa de aceleración CTE es una forma más en que nuestros Piratas están haciendo el trabajo de CORAZÓN!

Attention ‘24-‘25 8th Graders and Freshman:
Thanks to the TEA approval of CISD’s grant application, our students have the opportunity to begin working on their welding or business and entrepreneurship CTE certifications early! This summer opportunity will allow them to be workforce ready as early as their junior year. This innovative CTE acceleration program is one more way our Pirates are putting in the HEART work!
