Friday, August 13, 2021, Our educators attended a cultural awareness training led by Dr. Kimberly McLeod who is the Dean of the College of Education & Human Services at Texas A&M University-Commerce. In Chilton ISD, we believe that culture precedes sustainable achievement. Though a significant part of culture includes choosing a positive mindset, culture also involves a personal awareness of the direct and indirect patterns of behavior that influence teaching and learning. Thank you Dr. Kimberly McLeod for your contribution and work to improve cultural awareness and responsiveness in the Chilton ISD.
