Good Afternoon Pirates. There are a few schedule adjustments of which I would like to make you aware: JH Volleyball will travel to Oglesby on Thursday, September 10, 2020 for a 5:00 p.m. competition. In addition, the JV football team will travel to Troy to compete against their 9th grade team. The game will begin at 5:00 p.m. in Troy. Good Morning Pirate Nation, Earlier this week the University Interscholastic League (UIL), issued a stern warning to all districts failing to meet compliance with preventative expectations due to COVID-19. To ensure that our student-athletes are not penalized due our failure to enforce these guidelines, we want to ensure that all spectators are aware and have access to the Chilton ISD expectations regarding fan attendance during our sporting events. Please understand the following: 1. All events will require a ticket. 2. Egress and regress will not be permitted. 3. Temperature screenings will be mandated. 4. Entry will be denied if a face covering is not worn. 5. All seating will be marked. Please only sit where there is no blue tape. Good Evening Pirate. I want to share a few updates regarding upcoming athletic events: Thursday, September 3, 2020 the Junior High Volleyball team will compete against Bruceville-Eddy. Games will begin at 5:00 p.m. We are working to have tickets available this afternoon. Friday, September 4, 2020 the High School Volleyball team will compete in Evant. All those planning to attend should contact Mrs. Niecee Smith in the front office. Money will be collected at school by Mrs. Niecee Smith prior to the game on Friday. We are limited to 70 visitor tickets so they will be reserved on a first come; first served basis. The Varsity Football team will travel to Italy to compete. General admission availability will start Monday, August 31, at 10:00 a.m. Seating capacity is limited so tickets are available on a First come; first served basis. Please arrive early to comply with COVID-19 Screening procedures.

There will not be tickets at the gate. Please bring your ticket for scanning. Face coverings, temperature scans, and social distancing will be required. If you are not able to attend, the game will be streamed live on the Chilton ISD Facebook page. 2. All Chilton ISD facilities will be closed on Sunday, August 30, 2020. We are asking that all staff members refrain from entering the building because GermBlast will work to provide and final sanitation before school begins. 3. School begins on Monday, August 31, 2020.
