Pirate Nation, The 2021-2022 school year is upon us! Despite the difficulties and challenges that lie ahead, I know that our students and staff members will be super successful. As a reminder, please do not drop students off before 7:30 a.m. We want to ensure that monitors are in place as our students start to arrive. We are asking that parents not enter the building tomorrow morning. Please follow the drop-off line. We understand the inconvenience that this causes for some. However, we believe it to be the safest way to start our school year. Thank you in advance for all that you will do to help us ensure that the 2021-2022 school year is the best one yet for Chilton ISD. Per Aspera Ad Astra...Through Difficulty to the STARS!

Friday, August 13, 2021, Our educators attended a cultural awareness training led by Dr. Kimberly McLeod who is the Dean of the College of Education & Human Services at Texas A&M University-Commerce. In Chilton ISD, we believe that culture precedes sustainable achievement. Though a significant part of culture includes choosing a positive mindset, culture also involves a personal awareness of the direct and indirect patterns of behavior that influence teaching and learning. Thank you Dr. Kimberly McLeod for your contribution and work to improve cultural awareness and responsiveness in the Chilton ISD.
