Chilton ISD Seeking Applicants for Board of Trustees Vacancy
The Chilton Independent School District Board of Trustees has announced an opportunity for community members to serve on the Board of Trustees following a recent vacancy.
Board President Rodney Hall emphasized the importance of this role, noting that trustees play a vital part in shaping the educational experience for all students in Chilton ISD. “Serving as a trustee is both a responsibility and an honor,” Hall stated.
Applicants must meet eligibility requirements outlined in the Texas Education Code, including residency within the district and voter registration status. Trustees are responsible for establishing district policies, collaborating with fellow board members and the superintendent, representing the interests of students, staff, and the community, and committing time to board meetings, training, and district events.
Interested individuals are asked to submit a letter of interest along with a brief biographical statement to the Chilton ISD Administration Office no later than November 31, 2025. The Board will review all submissions and conduct interviews before making an appointment to fill the vacancy.
Community members who are passionate about supporting student success and continuing Chilton ISD’s tradition of excellence are strongly encouraged to apply.
