Mindset: We Are Connected (Maximize Positive Relationships)

Quote: “Shared joy is double joy.  Shared sorrow is half sorrow.”

Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBtFTF2ii7U

Thought: We are most united through adversity.  Our hope is it will allow people to move beyond any differences and come together as communities, countries, and the world.  It might just be those who are different than us that become the most important to us.

Reflection: How has the current adverse situation caused you to unite with others to survive?

Walk for Chilton Community Event

On Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., Nancy and Bryan Childers will begin walking in order to raise money to support those within the Chilton ISD community experiencing hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Sponsors have agreed to make a contribution to this cause for every mile that Nancy and Bryan Childers walks.  You may participate in two ways:

  • 1.Agree to make a contribution for every mile that Nancy and Bryan walks.
  • 2.Walk in your community and encourage friends, families, and neighbors to contribute for every mile you complete.

We are hoping for 100 miles covered in this event.  If you are interested in making a contribution, please contact Nancy Childers, Lahoma Taylor, Jennifer Sharp, or Candice Ross.
