Rebecca was raised in Chilton and has lived here most of her life! She graduated as Salutatorian of the Chilton ISD Class of 2000. After high school, Rebecca moved to Stephenville, Texas and attended Tarleton State University, where she graduated as Magna Cum Laude and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in 2004. After college, Rebecca worked in the banking and agricultural appraisal field for several years before she moved back home to Chilton. After moving back home, Rebecca started her career as a Health Inspector with the City of Waco and after she became licensed as a Registered Sanitarian, she began working for the State of Texas inspecting restaurants, schools, cafeterias, swimming pools, youth camps, and day cares. After working for the State of Texas for 5 years, Rebecca was offered a position as an Internal Food Safety & Safety Auditor with the Brookshire Brothers grocery chain, where she has been conducting store inspections for over 2 years. Rebecca is married and has one son, who also attends Chilton ISD. Rebecca is a member of the First Baptist Church in Chilton and Chilton Volunteer Fire Dept. Rebecca was elected onto the Chilton ISD Board of Trustees in November of 2016.
